Dedicated to awareness, healing, empowerment, and justice.
At Stacy's Joy Incorporated, we strive to bring happiness and support to those with traumatic lived experiences that include Human Trafficking, Sex Assault, Domestic Violence, Substance Use Disorders, and Incarceration. Our mission focuses on uplifting communities through compassionate outreach and dedicated services for healing, safety, and stability.

Stacy’s Joy Incorporated provides trauma-informed support for survivors and community members through healing circles, support groups, presentations, trainings, and interactive workshops. We offer boots-on-the-ground outreach and warm referrals to connect people with safe housing, recovery supports, and vital resources. Our work centers survivor voices, builds community awareness, and walks alongside individuals on their journey toward healing, stability, and lasting change.

Stacy’s Joy Incorporated is proud to share that our Founder & Executive Director, Dr. Stacy Reed-Barnes, alongside members of our Board, contributed as authors to an open-access study through the William James College Human Trafficking Research Hub.
Titled “The Roles of Adult Attachment and Complex Trauma in Sex Trafficking-Related Coercive Bonding,” and published in Psychological Trauma: Theory, Research, Practice, and Policy, the study explores how coercive control, attachment, and trauma impact survivors’ ability to exit trafficking. It also affirms a critical truth: survivors remain resilient and continue seeking safety despite complex barriers.
At Stacy’s Joy, we are committed to centering survivor voices in research, policy, and practice. Contributing to this work reflects our mission to bridge lived experience with evidence-based knowledge to drive meaningful change... We extend our gratitude to the entire research team and all contributors who made this study possible.

There are moments in this work that ground and affirm the mission, and attending this year’s conference hosted by the Alliance to End Human Trafficking was one of them. The space was welcoming, intentional, and filled with a shared commitment to prevention, healing, and change…. Stacy’s Joy Incorporated had the honor of contributing across multiple platforms. We presented “Stages of Grooming: A Trauma-Informed Perspective,” breaking down how exploitation begins while centering survivor experiences. We also served as panelists with the William James College Human Trafficking Research Hub on “Indicators & Prevention Pathways: Attachment, Trauma, and Resilience in Sex Trafficking,” bridging research with real-world impact. In addition, Dr. Stacy participated on the main stage survivor panel, “Risk Factors and Prevention,” sharing truth alongside other powerful survivor leaders… The engagement, thoughtful questions, and standing ovation were more than acknowledgment, they were confirmation that survivor-led, trauma-informed work is needed and impactful… This experience reinforces our commitment to remain relevant, centered in lived experience, and responsive to the evolving nature of human trafficking, ensuring that every effort leads to meaningful change for individuals and communities.

In just a few short months, Stacy's Joy Incorporated has:

We are proud to partner with a variety of organizations and businesses to support our community. Our partnerships enable us to expand our reach and provide even more resources and services to those in need.
WE APPRECIATE YOU!

We’re proud to share that a survivor supported by Stacy’s Joy Incorporated, the Sisters of St. Joseph-Boston, and generous private donors has secured her first affordable, permanent home. This milestone represents safety, stability, and the power of community to change lives. Thank you to our donors and partners for helping turn healing into housing and dreams into doorways.
